Art Is My Blood And Crafting My Life Breath.

I was a child consumed by colors, art supplies, and creativity. When I first saw fat pots of paint and birch wood easels, I almost fainted with excitement. My kindergarten teacher told us to sit down in front of her but I tried to get back to those easels. I couldn't focus on anything else.

I've discovered 4 generations of creativity in my family history. I grew up tracing over-and-over the fashion drawings in my Barbie coloring book, coloring them in various color schemes, baking and decorating cakes and cookies from scratch, and learning to sew using patterns. I learned creative techniques in Girl Scouts, jr high art classes and sr high home ec.

I've become a self-taught designer, artist, writer, crafter and amateur photographer. For designing I use the Serif Affinity Suite (Photo, Designer, Publisher), RepperPro and BenVista's PhotoArtist and PhotoZoom. For crafting, I use a myriad of creative techniques and media. My fav are paper crafting, altered art, stamping, die-cutting, beading, sewing, crochet and watercolor painting.

I am an artistic crafter and a crafty artist. My home work space is Artsy Craftery Design Studio and Printaphoria is my shop name. Some of my brands include EmbellishMart, Paper Nirvana, Bead Tonic and Exquisite Little Tags. You'll see SJH on some of my watercolor paintings.
